Refund policy

returns, exchanges & credit
lumilane’s return policy is for full refund within 30 days of the original purchase date except for seasonal & final sale merchandise. ALL SALE ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE. NO EXCEPTION AND CANNOT BE RETURNED. all returned or exchanged merchandise must meet the following criteria:

  • all items must be unworn, unused & returned in original packaging without damage to the package

  • all items must have original tags attached

  • items must be received by lumilane no later than 30 days from the original purchase date on your receipt for full refund (excluding season specific - see seasonal returns section below for terms & details).

if you do not meet all of the above requirements at the discretion of the returns department, do not attempt to return merchandise because it will be refused & you will be responsible for payment.

once your package is received, it will be processed within 2-3 business days. you will be notified via email when your return is processed.

seasonal returns
lumilane has specific return policy criteria per holiday based on the below:
1) time of purchase
2) season specific merchandise

item(s) are determined season specific at the owner’s discretion & is determined by product(‘s) graphics, colors, verbiage, scent & any other variables deemed seasonal. please reference below holidays for return policy under which item(s) in question falls under.

valentines, st. patty's, mother's/father's day, easter, 4th of july, memorial day, halloween & thanksgiving

all merchandise referencing a national holiday falls under 2 categories as stated below.

  • full refund eligible if return meets both requirements:

    • merchandise returned within 30 days of original purchase date

    • returned 15 days prior to national holiday in which season specific merchandise references

  • store credit or exchange eligible

    • merchandise returned within 30 days of original purchase date

    • returned within 15 day window leading to national holiday in which season specific merchandise references

christmas

all merchandise purchased november 1st thru december 31st falls under 2 categories as stated below.

  • merchandise NOT considered “christmas specific” will have an extended return policy:

    • full refund eligible if return meets both requirements:

      • merchandise is NOT considered “christmas specific”

      • merchandise purchased november 1st thru november 23rd is returned by december 23rd

    • store credit or exchange eligible

      • non “christmas specific” merchandise can be returned by 1/15

  • “christmas specific” merchandise

    • any “christmas specific” merchandise purchased after december 10th will only be eligible for store credit or exchange only

shipping & handling

customer is responsible for the shipping and handling of returned item(s) unless an order is $275 or greater & returned merchandise totals less than $75. In this case, customer will assume initial cost of shipping product(s) back & upon retrieval/approval, lumilane will issue a store credit in the amount of customer’s total shipping fee. We suggest sending items back using USPS, UPS, or FedEX along with a tracking number. We are not responsible for items lost while in transit.
